Take Action against killing of journalist in Oaxaca

On Friday, New York City Indymedia journalist Bradley will was killed by government forces in Oaxaca, Mexico as he filmed a demonstration. Later in the day a local teacher was also killed. Both of these deaths are part of ongoing government repression against teachers and residents of Oaxaca.

THIS IS WHAT WE ARE ASKING YOU TO DO:
Stand in solidarity with people in Kansas City who are demonstrating today 10/30 at the Mexican Consulate at 6pm by emailing the Consulate with your outrage at the killings and pleading for honest and comprehensive negotiations with the people and government in Oaxaca.

THE GOALS:
1) RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT THE SITUATION IN OAXACA (go to elenmigocomun.net/293; nytimes.com; www.mexicosolidarity.org
2) FLOOD THE KC CONSULATE WITH EMAILS (calls/faxes) TO LET THEM KNOW THAT WE ARE FOLLOWING THE SITUATION.
